LEARN TO SWIM
The Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center is proud to offer American Red Cross Swimming Instruction. Classes range in complexity from learning how to feel comfortable in the water to mastering advanced competitive swimming and water safety skills. Children as young as 6 months old to adults with little or no aquatic experience are welcome in our classes. All swim instructors have American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certifications.
Age designations for learn-to-swim programs are based on class content, pool location, duration, and class size. Children under 3 must have one-on-one supervision with a parent/guardian for safety reasons. Other age guidelines are flexible depending upon the participant’s level of social and physical development and swimming proficiency.
Information about learn-to-swim course descriptions and the class schedules for programs ending in April are available in the downloadable and printable PDF document below. Enrollment for classes is limited so early registration is recommended.
