Specialty Training Programs

Specialty Training is featured  seasonally in the following formats:  Freedom Attack the Fat Challenge (FAFC), No Excuses Extreme Training (NEXT), TRX, Outdoor Bootcamp, Bridezilla Bootcamp, Lose Weight Find Freedom, and the Strongman and Strongwoman Programs.  Fee structures vary for each.  Non-members may participate by joining Freedom at a special rate while in any specialty program.

FAFC – Freedom Attack the Fat Challenge

8 weeks/24 training sessions three times per week

I:  March 19 – May 13
Registration begins February 12th

II:  Sept – Nov; Exact dates TBD

Fee:  $399/members
$499/non-members
- includes unlimited access to the Freedom Center for the duration of the program.

New to fitness or need a jump start to your fitness program – FAFC is right for you!

This weight loss based challenge is held two times each year, in the fall and spring.  Groups of 4 will compete with a trainer against other teams, to accomplish the highest % of weight loss for an individual winner, and overall team winners.  Gift cards to Freedom Center are offered as prizes for these accomplishments.  Nutrition, injury prevention, behavioral eating, and several other seminars/lectures are included in the price.  There are also additional fee based services offered from professionals such as registered dieticians, chiropractors, physical therapists and behavioral counselors.

TRX – Train like the Navy Seals!

5 weeks/10 sessions
Registration begins January 9th.

Fee:  $249/members
$324/non-members 

TRX is a program which builds on true functional strength, with the use of suspension straps and body weight exercises.  This program improves balance, flexibility and core stability all at once.  This program appeals to all levels of training, regardless of age, gender or fitness level.  It can compliment training for athletes, as well as reconditioning from injuries, to seniors, by enabling them to move freely without falling.  Groups of 4-6 are required.  Individual training is available.  This program is offered twice per year, with the option to be ongoing as long as group criteria is met.

NEXT

5 weeks/10 sessions
Registration begins January 9th.

This program will push the boundaries of those who wish to take training to the highest level.  Good for those who have reached plateaus and are looking to increase levels of explosive power, speed, stamina, agility and overall performance.  The program is based on traditional precise timed intervals of work which makes use of maximal work/minimal recovery time.  The program is offered twice per year, with the option to be offered any time the group criteria is met.

NEW!!  Bridezilla Bootcamp

4 weeks/12 sessions

This program is specifically designed for brides to be, bridal party members, mothers, fathers, and “frenemies” with a humorous twist, and will facilitate the “bride” as in control.  Quirky and crazy, but offering solid workouts as well as offers from outside bridal services.  Groups require a minimum of 4 participants.  You will be constantly surprised by what’s in store — it’s all about the bride!

Lose Weight, Find Freedom

4 weeks/8 sessions

January 17th – February 9th
Tuesdays, Thursdays
7:00-8:30pm

Strongman/Strongwoman

8 weeks/16 sessions

$449/non-members 

This is a physically demanding unorthodox approach to reaching maximum goals of functional strength.  Clients will make use of tires, battle ropes, chains, and various other equipment OUT OF THE WEIGHT ROOM, preferably held outdoors, weather permitting.  Fitness pretesting will be done in order to determine if members meet the criteria for the program.  This is not a weight loss program and is offered to both men and women.
