Team Freedom: Healthy Lifestyles Program is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals conduct healthy lifestyle behaviors that stick! Whether you desire to exercise more, eat less or prevent and manage disease, Team Freedom will provide you with the resources and tools necessary to achieve and sustain your goals.

 Over a six-month period, you will receive 48 Small Group Training Sessions

These one-hour exercise sessions, conducted in groups of 8-10 people, will provide instruction on safe and effective fitness programming to help participants reach realistic health and fitness goals.

Good health also requires physical, mental and social well-being;  therefore, the program includes the following:

  • Two SMARTLAB Performance and Fitness Assessments

Smart lab assessments will provide an accurate and evidence-based way to monitor your progress. You will choose from a Bod Pod Test to measure muscle to fat ratio (an indicator of overall health) or a VO2 Max Endurance Test to determine your aerobic potential.  You will receive the same type of assessment at program-end.

  • Functional Movement Screenls

At the beginning of the program, you will receive a functional movement screen to help prevent injuries before they happen. This screen will help determine functional and muscle imbalances that are often overlooked. Once identified and addressed, decreased injury risk and improved performance will follow naturally.

  • Meal Plan and Nutrition CounselingLogo Jennifer

Our registered dietician will work one-on-one with you at the beginning of the program to create a customized meal plan based on your specific needs.  The dietician will continue to offer support to monitor and track progress by meeting with you on a regular basis throughout the duration of the program.


  • Behavioral Health Coaching

Gayles WellnessBy drawing on the principles of positive psychology and the practices of motivational interviewing and goal setting, health coaches will facilitate healthy, sustainable behavior change by challenging youKathryn Weaver,(1) to listen to your inner wisdom, identify your values, and transform your goals into action. Health coaches will work with you on a regular basis to create a plan of action that results in desired outcomes with your goals achieved.

  • Support Networks

Positive social support will play an important role in your ability to conduct and sustain healthy behaviors. Over the life of the program, you will receive support on-line and in person in the form of motivational messages, information, tools and resources. Both in-person and on-line meetings, chats and videos will be offered to ensure that you are never out of touch.
